We live in a world that is currently dominated by hyper-rationality and structure, centred around productivity and demand. Our society has influenced many to look outside of our own human innate wisdom, and feel disconnected from our own bodies. When an issue arises we often look outside of ourselves for the answer, continuing a cycle of disempowerment.
Kinesiology recognises that your body has all of your answers. We simply need to slow down and tune into this inner voice. Our unconscious, subconscious, and innate awareness are waiting for our busy conscious minds to connect within, and be the guiding light on our healing journey.
Kinesiology (kin -easy-ology) is a gentle natural therapy that supports growth and change in all areas of life. We use muscle testing to bypass the conscious mind and communicate with the body's unconscious and subconscious, allowing an identification to the root cause of imbalances or blockages in the body's energy system. Often it is the subconscious that holds onto memories, beliefs and programming. The testing is performed by applying gentle pressure to specific muscles and observing the response.
Kinesiology fundamentally respects the body as self-healing. Once the underlying reasoning for stress is identified and brought to the client's conscious awareness a variety of gentle holistic techniques are then used to balance the imbalances. We can then move forward in our lives on the trajectory envisioned by you, not limited to past beliefs or circumstances.
Vibrational medicines
We use a ranging of vibrational healing tools such as crystal bowls, tuning forks, essential oils, crystals and flower essences.
Tradtitional Chinese Medicine
TCM is paramount throughout a kinesiology session as we look at the flow of chi, jing and shen energy, 7 elements theory, balancing ying and yang and understanding the Dao.
Chiropractic backgrounds
Structural alignment is supported from applied Kinesiology with influences from Clinical Kinesiology and Neural Organisation Techniques; however they have evolved to suit a kinesiology energy approach rather than a manipulative chiropractic approach.
Yogic Influence
Yoga in Sanskrit means “to unite”. Ancient yogi wisdom is broadly incorporated including traditional Indian medicine such as Ayuveda, and the chakra system.
Neurophysiology
We balance specific parts of the brain with a kinesiology technique known as formatting originally developed by kinesiologist Richard Utt, the developer of the modality known as Applied Physiology.
Bioharmonics
Aligning the bioharmonics of the body and spirit considering axial energetics, energy attachments, ancestral coding and guidance.
Each person is different but generally changes can be noticed after 1-3 sessions. However given that kinesiology works with your own self healing capacity each individual will be unique with their own healing journey.
Nothing is required for the appointment, however, it is encouraged for you to set intention on what you would like to work on. Upon booking you will be emailed an intake form to support your session.
